Today 120 ladies from many clubs in the area, and all wearing pink, took part in a wonderful competition to raise money for AOA (Algarve Oncology Association) This charity started to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and since it started in 1994 has evolved into a leading non profit organisation. From a Breast Cancer Screening programme to a Radiotherapy Centre, it’s main additional objective today is to build a home to temporarily house patients undergoing radiotherapy. There were many sponsors donating prizes for everyone taking part, the winners and for the auction. This event has been going from strength to strength and the number of participants increases from year to year with the help of gentlemen and lady members of the club. 21 ladies from CGCC went to play and 13 of them won prizes !!! Congratulations to all of them.
