Sunday 19th October - Club Championship Dinner

​We had a fantastic turnout for the dinner this year - 111 attendees, which must be close to a record for our club events. A huge barbeque buffet was provided by Pestana and later, we had live music from the excellent Outsiders band. The dance floor was full to bursting for the whole evening! The food, table decorations and entertainment had been organised by Jane Conyers and her team of helpers. Many thanks to Jane and her helpers for all their hard work, hugely appreciated by everyone. Also a big thank you to Kris van der Zee for collecting the funds for the event and the raffle. 

Richard Conyers, our Competitions Secretary, had the unenviable task of sorting through all the scores for both days and working out the winners of all 24 prizes. No mean feat! The Gents and Ladies Captains presented all the prizes. And the results were:

A special mention should be made of Zachary Neary, one of our younger members, who did not have enough qualifying rounds to be included in the prizes but scored an impressive 69 gross on Gramacho. One to watch for next year!
